Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Working with colleagues and partners, lead education programme management to deliver our full curriculum packages (18 subjects, ~15,000 lessons, >£15m investment).

  • Oversee and contribute to the delivery of other specific projects, including public procurements.

  • Responsible for the continuous improvement of processes for feedback management, quality assurance and compliance within the curriculum programme.

  • Develop and manage a high performing team.

  • Manage a seven figure budget.

  • Maintain specialist expertise in agile programme management and be an authority across Oak.

  • As a member of the Oak Team, contribute to the planning and culture of the organisation.

  • Work in cross-functional and product oriented squads with colleagues from across the organisation, as required.

  • Deputise for Head of Curriculum Delivery and take on other general responsibilities as required.

Knowledge, skills and experience

  • 3+ years holding responsibility for the continuous improvement for programme management and quality assurance processes and systems.

  • Extensive knowledge of different programme management approaches (including implementing a ‘PMO’ model and agile and waterfall approaches).

  • Experience of recruiting, developing and managing a high performing team.

  • Experience of managing a seven figure budget.

  • Experience of financial modelling in developing and iterating complex budgets.

  • Some knowledge of the school system and curriculum in England.

The successful candidate will have a desire to contribute in all areas to ensure Oak is successful. You will be comfortable working at pace, with a range of digital systems (including proprietary ones as required) and you will continuously look at ways that the team can keep getting better. You will be excellent at working as part of a remote team, building relationships and managing your time effectively.
