Job Description
✋Role Purpose
Responsible for driving the growth and engagement of the Flexischools platform by developing and executing effective marketing strategies. Involves a significant focus on content and product marketing, aiming to attract and retain users on both sides of the marketplace, suppliers, schools and parents. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional copywriting skills, a deep understanding of digital marketing techniques, and experience in creating and promoting engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences.
🧐Role Specifics
Content Marketing:
Implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the company's goals.
Create high-quality, engaging, and SEO-friendly content for various platforms, including blogs, social media, newsletters, and the company website.
Collaborate with designers and other team members to produce visual and multimedia content.
Product Marketing:
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new features and products.
Craft compelling product descriptions, user guides, and case studies.
Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends, translating these insights into effective marketing campaigns.
Digital Marketing:
Plan and manage digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels (e.g., email, social media, PPC, SEO).
Monitor and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments to improve results.
Optimize the company’s online presence to increase visibility and engagement.
Customer Engagement:
Develop strategies to increase user engagement and retention.
Manage and grow the company’s online community, fostering strong relationships with users.
Collect and analyze customer feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Copywriting:
Write clear, persuasive, and original copy for marketing materials, advertisements, and website content.
Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy and consistency in tone and style.
Maintain the brand voice across all communication channels.
Competitor Analysis
Monitor and analyse competitor activity.
Prepare monthly competitor analysis updates for the wider team.
✍️ Skills & Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment.
Proven track record in content and product marketing.
Experience in managing digital marketing campaigns and social media platforms.
Proficiency in using marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO tools, email marketing software,
CMS).Understanding of SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.
Basic knowledge of HTML and web design is a plus.
Exceptional copywriting and editing skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail.Proven experience in B2B SaaS or Product marketing, with a strong preference for the education sector or similarly complex industries
An entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to be hands-on - ideally, you’ve worked in or around startups or scaleups.
