Job Description

​​Please note this is a hybrid role based on the successful candidate working at least two days a week in our London office. Remote contracts would not be considered for this role.

Purpose of job:

This role is responsible for supporting the development and delivery of our digital fundraising campaigns for community and schools activations. As a Digital Fundraiser you should be knowledgeable about all things digital; paid media, email and stewardship journeys. This role sits in the Digital Fundraising and Marketing team, and will work
closely with the Schools and Community Fundraising team.


Key responsibilities

  • Develop and manage paid media campaigns and plans alongside external Media agencies (Social, PPC, Display).

  • Work closely with Schools and Community Fundraising Managers to develop
    audience-focused fundraising campaigns.

  • Design, implement and optimise multi-channel user journeys for Community and
    Schools audiences (from acquisition to activation, through to retention and
    engagement).

  • Use data and audience insights to identify opportunities and influence strategy
    and plans.

  • Support Community and Schools team in achieving income targets and KPIs

  • Monitor performance and report on results across Schools and Communities
    digital campaigns, optimising and adapting as you go.

  • Provide expert digital knowledge to actively shape fundraising propositions and
    ensure opportunities are maximised.

Person specification:

Essential criteria:

  • Knowledge of digital fundraising and digital communication channels.

  • Wide-ranging knowledge of digital and marketing fundraising methods and best
    practice

  • Previous experience running cross-channel digital paid media fundraising
    campaigns on social, paid search, and display channels

  • Email marketing experience

  • A data-driven mindset, then turning insight into action.

  • Understanding of optimisation and A/B testing.

  • Experience of Google Analytics and fundraiser analysis

  • Effective time management, communication and collaboration skills

  • Understanding of fundraising audiences

  • Experience with personalization and segmentation marketing strategies

Desirable Criteria

  • Wide-ranging knowledge of digital and direct marketing fundraising methods and
    best practice

  • Strong understanding of audience segmentation and donor relationships
