the opportunity

 As a Performance Marketing Manager, you will report to the Commercial Director and be part of a team of 6. 

You will be involved in all aspects of Performance marketing from Paid Search to Paid Social, Programmatic & Affiliate Marketing and work cross-departmental with our in-house and external teams. 

We are looking for a Performance Marketing Manager with a background in running Biddable campaigns with a strong commercial mindset and ideally a background in eCommerce. 

The role is structured to allow the ownership of specific areas and projects with support where it is needed. It's an exciting opportunity that will have plenty of stretches and opportunities to grow into a well rounded Digital Marketeer. 

Here’s an overview of what you’ll do

  • Exposure for 3 key main areas: 

    • Paid Search - Manage Budget & KPIs, Identify growth opportunities, Manage agency

    • Paid Social - Campaign planning, Insights & Reporting, new platform testing

    • Affiliate Marketing - Manage Promotions, Planning and Partnerships as well as testing incremental growth 

  • Ensure the growth and performance of the key business markets. 

  • Scaling up while increasing efficiency.   (Metrics include: ROI, conversion rate, Gross Sales, and Contribution Margins)

  • Create scalable processes around winning opportunities. 

  • Ensure the continual improvement of healthy Business processes.

  • Own the successful deliverability of key roadmaps for Paid Search & Paid Social.  

  • Bring together social projects with creative, content and Ecommerce teams to ensure key projects and tasks are effectively communicated and managed across the business

  • Input and translate the Brand campaign concepts into digital channel assets (e.g. brand awareness content campaigns)  

  • Work with the Data & Insights team to understand the best profitable growth offers and promotions that run across the markets.

  • Support in the execution of promotion campaigns (e.g. Summer Sale, Boxing Day Sales, Black Friday)

  • Building and optimising our Biddable Channels for our key markets

  • Monitoring budget and identifying opportunities to scale performance

  • Monitoring and developing any additional marketing channels we look to test

  • Owning and driving your channels effectively to hit ambitious KPI targets

  • Be the day to day contact for our Biddable agencies. 

  • Evaluate and build on insights to drive best in class Biddable performance

what skills you will need

  • A strong background in directly managing biddable/digital performance media

  • Strong success examples in previous roles

  • Experience in other online channels is a bonus

  • Ability to be analytical and creative in troubleshooting

  • A good understanding of eCommerce is desired, as well as a strong commercial mindset. 

  • Comfortable using various analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Snowplow - Looker a bonus.
