Job Description

Purpose of the post

Reporting to the QQ2 Programme Director, the successful candidate will be a key member of the HDR UK QQ2 Programmes team, supporting the in day-to-day delivery and management of integrative activities across HDR UK’s QQ2 Programmes, and wider data strategy activities with UK data partners. They will support the day-to-day administration for the team, including engaging with staff and partners, preparing for meetings and following up on actions, helping coordinate events and assisting with communications and reporting requirements.

 The role holder will also be collating and updating quarterly reporting metrics on HDR UK Programme delivery and impact, and lead on management of data curation for HDR UK Programmes on the Health Data Research Innovation Gateway.

The role holder will work closely with HDR UK colleagues and community, as well as stakeholders across academia, NHS, third sector, patients and public, and industry. The role holder will share our values, have strong collaboration skills, be comfortable with working at pace, and have a passion for professional, high-quality approaches to project support and co-ordination. This post would suit someone who is well organised and adaptable with excellent attention to detail and is interested in developing their project management skills.

 

Main responsibilities

Project support and coordination

·         Support the team with key project and programme coordination and admin activities, ensuring these  are completed on time and new activities continuously planned in.

·         Support  day-to-day management of programme delivery and reporting, including tracking and updating progress in project management software (Monday.com)

·         Maintain project management records and support the tracking of progress across thematic areas, catalysts, and projects to internal and external stakeholders

·         Provide high level administrative support – organising meetings, taking minutes and following up on actions.

·         Work with the HDR UK Events  team to ensure smooth set up and running of events, from workshops and seminars to large scale events both in person and virtual.

·         Ensure HDRUK Programmes content on the Health Data Research Innovation Gateway is maintained, reviewed and updated on a regular cycle, supporting Programme teams with data curation as needed

·         Work with the Programme Delivery Managers to ensure project documents/materials are complete, current, and stored appropriately, adhering to the agreed version control process

·         Support Programme team in producing and presenting reports defining project progress, challenges, and solutions, including collating information, drafting reports and presentations

·         Support efficient setup and use of team communications and project management tools such as Trello, HubSpot.

Overarching Responsibilities

·         Develop positive working relationships with colleagues within HDR UK, and wider community.

·         Coordinate the involvement of key stakeholders at appropriate stages.

·         Be prepared and able to work flexibly to support colleagues as needed, adapting to an evolving environment and emerging priorities.

·         Work to ensure HDR UK’s standards of trustworthiness, ethics and values are maintained across implementation.
