Job Description

PURPOSE

This role will provide essential insights to our players and coaches on this exciting Lions tour.

The successful consultant analyst must have the technical skills required (use of PCS pro, dartfish, ILG, etc) to capture vital performance data for the Lions coaches and players pre, during and post the Jan/Feb 2023 Sri Lanka tour in the playing and coaching environment. Travel on the tour will be part of the role (Jan – Feb 2023). 

This role is a set number of 40 consultancy working days from 9th January 2023 through to February 2023.

YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Working with the ECB analysis team to create preparation data and video for the Lions Sri Lanka tour

  • Provide opportunity for all players and coaches to access data and improve performance and well-being

  • Provide real-time coaching and practise feedback (data and video) during the tour

  • Setting up IP cameras and providing real-time data and video during the matches

  • Provide post tour feedback, monitoring and recommendations

 

YOU’LL HAVE

  • A Masters/PhD degree in related subject

  • Extensive experience of providing cricket analyses to elite players (including use of PCS pro)

  • Ability to be nimble, collaborative, impactful and a team player in a high-performance sporting environment
