Job Description

PURPOSE

To lead on brand and marketing campaigns for key projects across, International, County and grass roots cricket.

YOU’LL BE DOING

·        Co-Leading on the development of the brand and marketing activity for cricket participation initiatives, including All Stars Cricket, our entry level programme for 5-8 year olds, and Dynamos Cricket, our match play programme for 8-11 year olds.

·        Managing brand and marketing activity for women’s and girls’ recreational cricket, driving more females to say ‘cricket is a game for me’.   

·        Working cross-functionally and with agencies to develop campaigns to support commercial goals such as recruitment for national programmes, data acquisition, commercial partner rights activation.

·        Working cross-functionally with internal teams at ECB, primarily digital, events, commercial partnerships, communications and participation and growth (P&G) teams to ensure the brands are executed consistently across all channels and campaign activity is aligned.

·        Working with the digital and P&G teams to optimise customer journeys to maximise engagement with participation initiatives.

·        Working with the customer marketing team to develop assets and marketing materials for our network partners to deliver local promotion.

·        Working with our data and insight partner, Two Circles, to support the cricket network with insight to inform marketing activity.

·        Working with our commercial partners to maximise the impact of brands and campaigns.

YOU’LL HAVE

·       Demonstrable experience of managing creative/advertising and media agencies.

·       Demonstrable experience of brand management and building multi-channel campaign plans across owned, earned and paid media.

·       The ability to work with customer insight and use it to inform brand development and campaign planning.

·       A track record of building effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders.

·       Confidence in and experience of presenting to diverse groups of stakeholders.
