Job Description

The purpose of the role is to streamline our business revenues and efficiencies. This role works within and across our rights and finance departments in the UK, US and COE territories. The aim will be to streamline processes and develop business operations. It will also be to increase visibility of the data within our systems in a user-friendly, accessible manner through the use of PowerBi and other technologies, as needed. We’re looking for someone who enjoys a challenge and is self-motivated and self-disciplined to solve problems in a creative way, through reports, processes, and systems. We are looking for methodical and analytical mindset. Experience in rights and royalties are not a requirement, but we are looking for someone with an understanding/experience of working in a finance function.

Key responsibilities:

Automation

  • Work to find solutions to automate the daily processes

  • Proactively investigate new solutions and interrogate any issues.

  • Provide maintenance for solutions and communicate with stakeholders.

  • Work alongside various teams to learn the processes as needed in order to work out where there are opportunities to streamline processes or automate.

  • Provide ad hoc assistance on tasks as needed

  • Become a PPM superuser so as to understand the workings of PPM consequently how the data works.

  • Support the US in their migration to Klopotek and building PowerBi Dashboards in line with their requirements.

  • Support the COE territories by building reporting tools that promote visibility.

  • Offer training and support where possible to aid in upskilling all parties.

  • Create and maintain meticulous process documentation

  • Run reports as necessary using Business Objects and other internal systems such as Reportnet

  • Run ad hoc reports as required.

Streamline processes and design automations and other system improvements

Experience

  • Administrative, systems analyst and/or reporting experience within a finance/rights function

  • Powerbi experience

  • Automation/coding/VBA experience

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and with strong attention to detail and methodical

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills

  • Team player with proven ability to work independently in a dynamic, global, and evolving work environment

  • Ability to plan and prioritise

  • Willing to adapt to changing priorities

  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office, and specifically Excel (to manipulate data files) and Word

  • Excellent problem solving and with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to multitask

  • Able to provide exceptional service to our customers and clearly explain complex information in an understandable way
