We are looking for an inspirational Team Manager to provide operational day to day leadership for a team of early help family workers, ensuring high quality, safe, effective and consistent outcome focused services are delivered in accordance with local and national standards.  You will be passionate about achieving better outcomes for children/young people and their families and deliver Camden’s vision in line with Camden plan priorities, Camden Early Help and Resilient Families Framework. You will provide leadership and effective management oversight of family cases held by your team, ensuring your team is delivering services effectively and in timely manner and helping families to achieve desired outcomes.

This post will be based between 5 Pancras Square.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS.

 

About you

 

You will have significant experience of managing staff and service performances. You will have experience of managing early intervention and prevention services including case management and quality assurance.  To be considered for this post, it is essential that you have a proven record of delivering and managing high quality services for very vulnerable young people.  It is also a pre-requisite that you possess good knowledge and understanding of legislative framework and polices relating to young peoples’ services. This includes safeguarding, child protection and can demonstrate detailed knowledge and understanding of the early intervention and prevention policies and practices. You will have experience of delivering high quality, differentiated intervention to support families with differing needs and abilities. You will have demonstrable experience in the ability to lead, motivate and manage multi-disciplinary staff teams in a range of work environments and contexts. You will hold considerable experience of case management oversight as well as understanding of the concepts of the psychologically informed practice, including Trauma, Adverse Childhood Experiences etc.

You will need to hold a degree level qualification in any of the following professions

·        Youth and Community work

·        Youth Justice/ Probation

·        Connexions and Career

·        A relevant qualification such as Psychology, Counselling, or Substance misuse

·        Social Work- (HCPC -registered)

·        Any relevant management training or qualification
