Job Description
We are currently seeking a Sales Executive to report to the Head of Sales, East Asia.
Responsibilities
Supports Head of Sales, East Asia and the China freelancer sales rep with general admin work, including (but not limited to): customer enquiries, order submission, customer service issues, samples & POS management, preparing sales trip materials, and mailing.
Communicates with co-workers in US and UK offices, including international sales teams, customer service, stock control and credit control teams; Attends meetings and sales conferences both in person and virtually.
Organizes Beijing Book Fair, including booking, design, logistics, samples, stand management, and other related issues.
Manages the HarperCollins Weibo account.
Provides regional expertise on UK and US systems.
Acts as first point of contact with UK/US teams for providing of sales and marketing material, publishing schedules, title plans, and print runs.
Responsibility for administrating and invoicing of direct deliveries and drop shipments.
Requirements
Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin), both in written and speaking
Experience in sales/marketing supporting roles are preferred
Familiar with Chinese social medias including WeChat, Weibo, Douyin, Xiaohongshu, etc.
Self-starter, organized, adaptable, able to prioritize, high-level of communications skills,
Passion for promoting English books in the Chinese speaking markets
Commercial awareness of revenue and profit that drives of the business and their impact of the role
Willingness to travel when necessary
