We are recruiting for this exciting role in the People team at the ECB where you will work as a key member of the People Delivery team to deliver a world class service that supports our people and payroll processes

    YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Inputting all changes to the HR system and collating the monthly payroll instruction, including checking and processing changes in a timely fashion.

  • Managing the new starter process including: preparing and sending contracts to new starters, references, updating org charts and inputting details into the HR system.

  • Supporting the admin processes that underpin the employee lifecycle such as change letters, benefits admin, leavers paperwork, probation letters, maternity meetings & admin etc. 

  • Running reports as requested. 

  • Managing the People Team and Payroll inboxes, dealing with any front line questions and delegating to the rest of the team as appropriate.  

  • Being an ambassador for the People function, representing the People Team both internally and externally.  

  • Managing any partner vacancy requests and posting as required.

  • Promoting a positive working environment.

  • Working to deliver projects aligned with specific People Team objectives, identifying blockages for and finding solutions.  

  • Dealing with sensitive, confidential matters in an appropriate way.

YOU’LL HAVE·        

  • Payroll administration experience.

  • Proven experience of working in a busy HR function within defined timelines.

  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail. 

  • The ability to work through high volume of work with precision. 

  • Experience of HR Systems (Currently CIPHR) and preferably being part of a team that transitioned to a new HR system.

  • The ability to apply judgement, creativity, and flexibility to generate new and innovative ideas.

  • Expert knowledge of current trends in HR, and evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
