Job Description
Introduction to the role
An exciting opportunity for a creative, organised, confident person with experience working across a range of different social channels to join the fast-paced Digital team at HarperCollins.
You’ll love reading and be immersed in the world of books on social media. You will play a pivotal role in engaging and nurturing our community, reaching new readers and being at the forefront of an exciting social commerce project.
Key tasks and accountabilities
Support and create organic and paid social media content: Focusing on engaging TikTok videos and Lives.
TikTok Shop catalogue management: Collating titles for monthly uploads, uploading titles, managing pre-order titles, updating prices and promotions.
Create and maintain relationships with creators: newsletter creation, creator outreach and working with our top creators.
Manage stock inventory: checking ISBN details, liaising with inventory team, uploading reserve information to internal systems.
Create and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience & Skills Required
Content Creation – whether it’s your own account or for a brand
A passion for reading
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Basic video editing experience e.g. TikTok, Instagram Reels
Familiarity with social media scheduling tools and analytics platform
Comfortable in front of a camera for video (including Livestreams)
Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content ideas
A natural collaborator who loves working as part of the team
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Excellent written skills
Acute attention to detail
Proficient prioritisation skills
