Job Description

PURPOSE

The Ticketing & Hospitality Manager is responsible for the project management and operational delivery of ticketing and hospitality requirements across international, domestic and The Hundred cricket fixtures on behalf of the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB).

The role is a key, stakeholder-facing position, working closely with venues, commercial partners, internal departments, England Team Management and representatives from 18 individual counties to ensure the highest standards of ticketing and hospitality delivery.

The role holder will be responsible for managing contractual obligations, orders, reconciliations and some matchday delivery, while proactively identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems and stakeholder experience. The role will also provide leadership and coordination to the wider ticketing and hospitality team, ensuring seamless delivery throughout the cricket season.

YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Lead the end-to-end project management and delivery of all ticketing and hospitality requirements on behalf of the ECB for men's and women's international matches, domestic matches, and The Hundred fixtures, ensuring a consistent, and high standard of delivery.

  • Attend matches, where necessary, throughout the season, to oversee delivery of ECB programmes, to ensure all stakeholders receive a high standard of hospitality and matchday service, in line with expectations.

  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including representatives from 18 Professional Cricket Counties, venues, commercial partners and national teams.

  • Maintain accurate financial and operational records throughout the year, and complete timely and accurate reconciliations across all ticketing and hospitality requirements within required deadlines.

  • Work with venues to obtain pre-season budgets and post-season actuals to ensure accurate financial reporting and input of insurance figures.

  • Ensure match cancellation refunds and insurance claims are processed correctly and efficiently

  • Collate and analyse attendance statistics from partner ticketing and hospitality orders, and provide meaningful insights to account managers, to support future planning, partner conversations, and commercial account management.

  • Identify opportunities to improve ticketing and hospitality processes, systems, and stakeholder experiences. Oversee the integration and implementation of automation within ticketing and hospitality systems, helping to improve efficiency, accuracy and scalability.

  • Capture post-season feedback and lessons learned to inform future venue planning and operational delivery.

  • Provide day to day management and support to Ticketing and Hospitality Coordinator.

  • Ad Hoc projects as required to support ticket and hospitality projects across ECB.

Although not a comprehensive list, this will form the majority of the responsibilities with additional ad hoc elements being required from time to time.

This is an office-based role, with the successful candidate working from either our London or Edgbaston office. There is a requirement to be in the office at least three days per week.

In addition, there will be a requirement to travel to the other office location once per week, depending on business needs.

 

YOU’LL HAVE

  • Experience in ticketing, hospitality, events, venue operations, account management or a comparable project management environment.

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage high volumes of information and multiple concurrent requirements without compromising accuracy.

  • Proven experience of relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work with individuals at all levels, including C-Suite and senior leadership.

  • Experience managing reconciliations, purchase orders, invoices and budgets.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience of line management, team coordination or leading colleagues to deliver shared objectives desirable.

  • Strong IT and systems skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technology.
