We are looking for a skilled photographer to join the Comic Relief creative team for our Red Nose Day 22 campaign. With opportunities to shoot fun and engaging content with talent and beneficiaries, we need you to be well organised and meticulous in your metadata. You will work across all aspects of the picture desk supporting the Photography and Visual Lead editing and uploading new shoots to our digital asset management system, adding metadata, dealing with incoming image requests, assisting on photoshoot production and on occasion shooting on behalf of Comic Relief. You must be flexible, willing to travel and happy to get fully immersed in our campaign.

Key responsibilities:

• Photography shoots at short notice, where some travel will be required.

• Editing and uploading incoming photography to our Digital Asset Management system, adding and checking all metadata, keywording.

• Dealing with incoming requests from across the business, helping to identify images to suit their requirements.

• Assisting in the production of photoshoots, often with a very fast turnaround period.

• Basic retouching, cropping and colour balancing of images.

• Assisting in the organisation and management of the Comic Relief photography archive.

 Essential Education and Competencies:

• Fast paced role so must be able to multi-task and prioritise effectively to meet tight deadlines.

• Excellent photography skills, happy shooting almost any subject.  

• Experience using Digital Asset Management systems, photoshop and lightroom.

• Basic Adobe photoshop and retouching skills are required, colour balancing, cropping etc.

• A degree in photography, design, media or a relative field. Photography skills essential.

• Highly organised and meticulous attention to detail.

• Strong Administrative skills
