Job Description

Purpose of job:

The Regular Giving Manager will be accountable for the delivery of campaigns that generate Regular Giving income across our channels year-round. Stewardship and Membership Development will be a core part of this role.
                                                          

Key responsibilities:

Planning & Delivery

  •  Plan Regular Giving campaigns and testing roadmaps across channels, with a strong focus on stewarding donors over email to give monthly or again through repeat cash gifts.

  • Shape and help oversee Individual Giving activity managed by third parties (eg. agencies), plus any  in-house delivery of Regular Giving or Membership campaigns

  • Provide ad-hoc support to teams across the organisation to shape wider projects, such as our Audience Strategy or overarching Regular Giving Strategy

  • Play a pivotal role in shaping our multi-year Membership strategy, in partnership with the Head of Digital Fundraising & Giving

 

Campaign Delivery

  • Where needed, set up, manage and report on Regular Giving tests year-round to help us increase regular giving rates, optimise journeys, and better understand behaviours

  • Work closely with the Email Marketing Executive to ensure Regular Giving asks and nurturing journeys are effective and dovetail seamlessly into our wider stewardship journeys

  • Brief content and creative requirements into our Creative team, liaising directly where needed to oversee the creation process and secure end-to-end sign-off

  • Provide when needed updates on performance against KPIs

 

Project Management

  • Maintain project plans and track budget spend

  • Collaborate with stakeholders

 

Person specification

Essential criteria

  •  A data-driven mindset

  • Experience with CRM and email systems such as Emarsys

  • Experience delivering regular giving email journeys ideally for a charity

  • Solid fundraising experience

  • Proven experience testing, learning and evolving based on results

  • Comfortable working effectively with creative studios and media agencies

  • Project and time management

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills

  • Microsoft Office including Excel or Google Sheets

  • Experience creating membership programmes or raffles
