Job Description
PURPOSE
Since 2007, the ECB has delivered complementary education programmes to county academy players to promote the development of both better players and better people, supporting our ambition to be the most respected team in the world.
The Diploma in Sporting Excellence (DiSE) is funded by the Education and Skills Funding Agency, and places are allocated by Sport England. This BTEC Level 3 qualification provides academy players with valuable UCAS points and aids preparation for a career in professional sport by embedding the learning provided in county academy programmes. The 19 modules included within the programme include ‘cricket related’ subjects such as technical and tactical development, as well as complementary off-field matters such as career development and social media.
The DiSE Programme Lead will perform a key role in driving standards to ensure the programme is successful in its objective to add value and embed the learning of the academy programme. This role will require strong relationship management, the ability to influence, excellent problem solving, and the drive to deliver continual improvement.

It provides great entertainment. It teaches important skills, both physical and social. It can help inclusion and social cohesion, bringing communities together.
The ECB welcomes applications from all backgrounds to ensure we deliver our Inspiring Generations strategy and fulfil our purpose to connect communities and improve lives through cricket.
