The Health Data Research UK Biomedical Vacation Scholarships provide undergraduates with hands-on experience of health data science-based research during the summer vacation period, with the aim of encouraging them to consider a career in research.

Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

• Students must be registered on a relevant undergraduate course in the UK or Republic of Ireland that involves some study of mathematics and/or computing.

• Students are eligible in the middle year(s) of the degree when they have not yet undertaken a substantial period of research.
