Job Description


Working alongside the England Men’s Red ball, Pathway and Disability performance analysis teams the purpose of this role is to provide world leading performance data and insights to the World conquering England Men’s T20 and ODI teams.

This role is extremely exciting and challenging, varying from providing video and data capture support during milestone events (training and match-play) to data mining, visualising and feeding back (and forward) large data sets to unearth impactful performance and team selection insights, whilst working alongside the best coaches and players in the world!

  • Providing real-time and lapse time data and video to the England Men’s White Ball teams on major tours and milestone events during practise and match play

  • Providing team selection and pathway insights for the England Men’s white ball teams

  • Working closely with coaching and sports science team to provide an environment that is data and feedback rich

  • Be a collaborative, flexible and impactful member of the ECB Performance Analysis team, ensuring that the optimal processes learnt and applied within the Men’s Senior white ball game are applied across and along the Lions Men’s, Women’s and Disability pathway



  • Masters/PhD in relevant subject

  • Extensive experience and extraordinary skills in the provision of performance analysis support to world class cricket players (use of PCS pro [or similar cricket analysis software], Power BI, Tableau, Excel, Dartfish, Python [or similar], etc required)  

  • Ability to tour with the England Men’s white ball teams, ensuring the data and video provided is world leading; enhancing/objectifying the coaches/players decision making, quantifying technical/tactical interventions and enriches the playing and coaching environment

  • Understand of the application of AI/Machine learning in our quest to ensure our data systems are future facing and predictive
