Job Description
HarperNorth, the Manchester based division of HarperCollins, is opening their virtual doors to welcome in would-be industry professionals for a learning day.
If you want to spend an evening finding out more about editorial, marketing, publicity and recruitment tips within publishing, add your details via the link provided and you could be chosen to join in – all without leaving your home!
We would normally host a selection of learning placements at our different sites for those wanting to break into the industry, however due to Covid-19 we’re not currently able to welcome anyone into our offices. Instead, we would like to give you the opportunity to sit in on our online meetings, meet the team and ask questions about working in the Publishing industry. This learning day will not only give useful insight into Publishing and give you the opportunity to network, but can also be added to your CV.
Candidates will be chosen randomly, and the learning day is best suited to those who have not yet begun their professional publishing career.
Our next open day will take place in the evening on February 24th from 6pm-8pm. Register here and we will share the login details a few days before the event.
(Please note some of the wording on the next page isn’t editable, your application is not subject to a points score, the selection is random.)
