Job Description
Job title: Summer intern (pet ownership and communications).
Location: Westminster, London
Hours: 35 hours a week
Contract type: Temporary – a fixed period from 21 July to 3 September
Pay: £600 a week
Reports to: Director of Lund Trust
We are looking for a summer intern to research the environmental and human health impacts of pet ownership and how any issues might be communicated to owners and potential owners. The intern will produce a written report and give a presentation based on their research.
Lund Trust is a grant-making fund. We fund work in the UK that greens people's lives. You can find out more about our work on our website (www.lundtrust.org.uk).
We are looking for a summer intern with:
Excellent research, writing and presentation skills.
The ability to understand and interpret complex data.
The ability to take direction, but also to work independently, and
A demonstrable interest in conservation and nature/human geography/ philanthropy.
This is a full-time, fixed-term role based at our Central London office. The intern can work from home for up to one day a week. Annual leave is offered on a pro rata basis.
Eligibility
To apply, you need to be enrolled as a full or part-time student on an undergraduate or taught Master’s degree, with the right to work in the UK.
