Job Description

PURPOSE

This is an exciting role within the ECB Events department that oversees the management of the accreditation process for Domestic and International cricket. The Accreditation Manager is responsible for managing the planning and operational requirements of all elements of accreditation process for internal and external stakeholders. The Accreditation Manager, alongside the Accreditation Executives will also be responsible for the delivery of onsite accreditation operations at High Profile Matches (the role involves a significant amount of travel across the country). The key aim is to deliver world class cricket for both the men’s and women’s game. The ECB is a fun and energising place to work, and the Events Department is lively and full of talent.

YOU’LL LOVE THIS JOB IF

YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Managing the pre/early season accreditation requirements across a wide number of internal and external stakeholder groups.

  • Liaising with accreditation suppliers, including Accredit Solutions to ensure that key targets are met and accreditation passes are delivered pre-season.

  • Working on the road to deliver onsite accreditation operations across a number of International and Domestic Final games and The Hundred. Supporting the wider events team with additional match day responsibilities where required.

  • Building key relationships with internal and external stakeholders, managing client groups to support them throughout the registration process and distribution of accreditation passes.

  • Working closely with the Media Operations Manager and Communications Team to approve and distribute media accreditation passes. Where required provide onsite support for media operations, across International matches.

  • Work closely with the Cricket Regulator and ICC Anti-Corruption Units to ensure that accreditation is approved and produced for restricted areas on match days.

  • Utilising the accreditation system to efficiently process requests and oversee the delivery of all aspects of the 2026 season.

  • Where required, management of Accreditation Executives.

YOU’LL HAVE

  • The right to work in the UK

  • Good knowledge and experience of working with an accreditation environment.

  • Strong process driven approach to planning.

  • Great interpersonal skills, to communicate with various internal and external stakeholders.

  • The ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines, using good decision making and problem-solving skills.

  • The skills to work self-sufficiently in an organised style, with an ability to adapt to various IT programmes (including databases), a focus on multitasking and a great attention to detail.

  • A full UK (or where permitted a full international) driving licence and a commitment to drive across England and Wales.

  • A flexible approach to work, including weekends and extended hours.

  • Experience working/ volunteering within the sports/ event’s industry.
