Purpose of the post

We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Senior Programme Manager to support the next phase of development and delivery of the UK Health Data Research Alliance (‘the Alliance’). This is a high-impact leadership role, offering a unique opportunity to shape how the Alliance continues to support responsible data access, cross-sector engagement, and innovation in health data use. The successful candidate will be working closely with the Programme Director, Infrastructure & Services, and Alliance Delivery Manager to support and deliver the evolution of the Alliance’s structure and service. This role sits alongside the Alliance Delivery Manager as part of HDR UK’s secretariat support to the Alliance.

The role requires vision, delivery expertise, and deep engagement with partners across government, NHS, academia, industry, and the public. It is an opportunity to drive meaningful change through collaboration, strengthen national data partnerships, and contribute to a more connected and impactful health data infrastructure.
