Our 2024 Internship Opportunities

This year we will be hosting eleven interns across a number of areas in our business including:

o   Business Operations (Custody Services)

o   Client Services

o   Investment Proposition (based in our Edinburgh office)

o   Portfolio Management

o   Sustainable Investing

o   International Clients Desk

Below is an outline of what each of these business areas performs. While we will ultimately decide what internship position to place you in, you can indicate in your application if there are particular areas of our business you would prefer to have the opportunity to work in.

Your primary place of work will be in our City of London office (aside from the Investment Proposition role which is Edinburgh based) where you will be placed on an eight week programme between 1 July & 23 August 2024.

We care about the development of our people and we will ensure you gain a mixture of formal learning combined with on-the-job professional experience. Each intern will be given a project to work on by their managers as well as performing day to day tasks. We will host a number of ‘Meet the business’ meetings across people within our business for the duration of your internship and you will be asked to present your projects at the end of your internship to fellow intern peers and to different members of the Firm.

Our interns will follow the hybrid model of working in the office and homeworking, however we would expect you to be in the office for the vast majority of your week.

Your Salary & Living Allowance

Our internship programme is paying £500 a week and you will be payrolled through our external recruitment partner, Bruin Recruitment.

In addition, if you are required to rent accommodation in London for the duration of our internship programme, we will provide an additional £150 per week living allowance to help support the cost of your accommodation. Please note you will be required to provide proof of a rental agreement to be eligible for this living allowance.
