Job Description

(Please notes general perks may not be applicable for consultant and secondment roles)

PURPOSE

To deliver and implement strength and conditioning strategies across the Disability pathway. Working both remotely and covering training camps, matches and tours when required. Assisting with screening to formulate individual conditioning programmes.

YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Producing individualised Conditioning programmes for Learning Disability and Visually impaired cricket players.

  • Assisting at screening day – fitness testing in line with ECB Mens Pathway and communicated and planned with MSL.

  • Inputting all fitness data into Cricket squad.

  • Assisting with warm up / active recovery strategies specifically for training, touring and match days.

  • Education sessions around conditioning and resources for players to access.

YOU’LL HAVE

  • BSc Sport Science and Exercise.

  • Previous experience working in a sporting environment specifically with disability athletes.

  • Knowledge and understanding of the physical demands of Cricket performance.

  • Experience in delivering injury reduction / performance enhancing conditioning programmes.

  • Desirable – UKSCA accreditation

YOU’LL RECEIVE

  • £150 day rate for all domestic matches, training and screening days.

  • £100 admin fee

  • There may be additional fees involved with touring / Marquee tournaments.

Please note that, along with insurance and certificates associated with your role, please send in appropriate business use insurance for your car, should you use it to drive to and from squad weekends and matches.
