Job Description

PURPOSE

The overall purpose of this role is to support two members of the executive team and help them to be effective and efficient in delivering projects within ECB, across the cricket network and various external stakeholders.

YOU’LL BE DOING

COO

  • Manage COO’s ever-changing diary

  • Collate weekly reports from each COO department

  • Assist with POs, invoices & contracts

  • Manage & arrange department meetings and events

  • Arrange & book travel and accommodation in UK and abroad including visas

  • Assist with ad hoc projects as required

 

Communications Director

  • Manage Director’s diary

  • Assist Comms leadership team with budget management and tracking

  • Assist with POs, invoices, contracts, and subscriptions

  • Assist Comms leadership team with tracking of team annual leave

  • Assist with team Rota during busy periods

  • Manage and update the Communication Grid which is shared company-wide

  • Arrange and manage department meetings and events

  • Arrange and book travel and accommodation in UK and abroad including visas

  • Assist with ad hoc projects as required

 

Internal Communication

  • Manage IC inbox and calendar

  • Send all company emails and diary invites

  • Upload news stories and documents to the intranet

  • Collate and write stories to then publish in weekly newsletter

  • Draft and create internal campaigns alongside departments across the business

 

Charitable Donations

  • Manage annual allocated budget

  • Order and manage stock of items to be donated

  • Manage and document requests via letter, email, phone calls and through colleagues

  • Respond to successful requests and arrange distribution of donations

  • Track and document fundraising efforts from donations

 

YOU’LL HAVE

  • Experience in a commercial or business environment

  • Experience of supporting two or more Executives

  • A positive, friendly demeanour and sense of humour

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Good project management and planning skills

  • A level-headed nature to manage tight deadlines and stressful situations

  • Initiative to make appropriate decisions and take action

  • Discretion, patience, resilience, flexibility, empathy, creativity
