Job Description
PURPOSE
Women’s & girls’ cricket is set to be transformed as part of a wider strategy to Inspire Generations by connecting communities and improving lives through cricket.
The Senior Manager Female Participation role is an exciting opportunity to support in the delivery of a thriving recreational game, that welcomes a broad, representative playing population.
As Senior Manager for Female Participation, you will be a passionate advocate of the game, maximising opportunities for women and girls at a recreational level, to foster a life-long involvement with cricket.
The role requires you to influence the wider cricket network and build relationships to Transform Women’s and Girls’ Cricket at participation level. This role will be key in shaping the future success of the game.

YOU’LL BE DOING
Supporting the delivery of a plan through County Boards/Foundations and a network of Women’s and Girls’ Cricket Development Officers to grow the base of female participation with a focus on growing the number of thriving and sustainable girls’ sections at clubs.
Helping the network deliver a girls’ secondary school proof of concept programme and analysing its success to shape future programmes.
Managing relationships with equipment suppliers to ensure the network has the tools to grow female participation.
Working closely with the ECB Marketing Team, to drive the We Got Game campaign at a grassroots level.
Supporting the ECB National Programmes Team in increasing the number of girls and female Activators participating in All Stars Cricket and Dynamos Cricket.
Using insight to design and drive additional creative and innovative programmes that will deliver sustainable growth for women and girls’ cricket.
YOU’LL HAVE
Good leadership, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
Experience of delivering strategy through innovative and engaging interventions.
Comfortable presenting to large groups of people.
Proficient in budgeting, planning, and monitoring and evaluation of key strategic priorities.
