Job Description
PURPOSE
This is an exciting role within the ECB Events Department that will encompass working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver accreditation requirements for the 2024 season.
The Accreditation Executives will support the Accreditation Manager to deliver accreditation planning and operations for all international and domestic cricket competitions alongside The Hundred.
The Executives will support the planning process and attend matches across the country to deliver their role onsite (the role involves a significant amount of travel across the country). The key aim being delivering world class cricket for both the men’s and women’s game. The ECB is a fun and energising place to work, and the Events Department is lively and full of talent.
Please note, we have two FTC opportunities for this role, which require availability from April 2024 to October 2024.

YOU’LL LOVE THIS JOB IF
You enjoy working in a fast paced environment to deliver high profile events, engaging with a variety of stakeholders and liaising with a number of venues across England & Wales.
You are a team player and enjoy the experience of working together to deliver events. You can work with colleagues both on venue and remotely to ensure that the stakeholder process for accreditation runs smoothly.
You have strong organisational skills, have a strong attention to detail and have the ability to manage conflicting deadlines. You can work self-sufficiently and within a busy team environment.
YOU’LL BE DOING
Supporting the Accreditation Manager to deliver the pre/early season accreditation requirements, including printing and distribution of passes to key stakeholder groups.
Working on the road to deliver onsite accreditation operations across a number of international games and the delivery of The Hundred tournament. Supporting the wider events team with additional match day responsibilities where required.
Building key relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and where required managing client groups to support them through the registration process and distribution of accreditation passes.
Working closely with the Media Operations Manager and Communications Team to approve and distribute media accreditation passes. Where required provide onsite support for media operations, across international matches.
Working closely with the ECB and ICC Anti-Corruption Units to ensure that accreditation is approved and produced for restricted areas on match days.
Utilising the accreditation system to efficiently process requests and support the Accreditation Manager in delivering all aspects of the 2024 accreditation season.
YOU’LL HAVE
Great interpersonal skills in order to communicate with various internal and external stakeholders.
The ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines, using good decision making and problem-solving skills.
The ability to work self-sufficiently in an organised style, with an ability to adapt to various IT programmes (including databases), a focus on multitasking and a great attention to detail.
A full UK (or where permitted a full international) driving licence and a commitment to drive across England and Wales (pool car available).
A flexible approach to work including weekends and extended hours.
Experience working/ volunteering in the events/ sporting events industry.
Knowledge and understanding of accreditation process and operations, preferable but not essential.
