Job Description

PURPOSE

The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 (WT20WC26) - Partner Rights Delivery Manager is the main ICC point of contact, between the ICC commercial team and the Host/Host Venues, for all matters of a commercial nature (sponsorship and licensing) across the tournament.

The role being the primary point of liaison between the event sponsorship and licensing partners and the Host LOC on all operational deliverables relating to the staging of the ICC WT20WC26. And is responsible for the ground operational delivery of partner rights and benefits. The list role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities outlined below.

The role will be based in an office environment or on site at the time of events, inspections with working hours that are frequently outside regular working hours, especially during events.

The ICC Women’s Twenty20 World Cup is the biennial global tournament for women’s T20 international (T20I) cricket.  The 2026 event will be the 10th edition of the women’s tournament and is due to be hosted by the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB), delivered in partnership with the International Cricket Council (ICC).  It will be the first time the event has returned to England & Wales since the inaugural tournament in 2009 – which England women won on home soil.

Ambitions for the tournament are high.  Within a fast moving women’s sport landscape, our aim is not only to deliver the biggest women’s cricket event in history, but to use it as a moment to redefine the standard for women’s cricket attendances, reformulate revenue streams, and retune mindsets about what cricket is and who it is for.  A moment in time to deliver long-term behaviour change for the whole sport and to secure the commercial future of women’s cricket domestically and internationally.

YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Act as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned locally based sponsors - own the delivery of sponsorship rights and benefits, ensuring full compliance with contractual agreements.

  • Develop and manage the operational plan for delivery of the sponsorship and licensing programme, including timelines and a rights & benefits implementation manual.

  • Lead operational planning and delivery of partner rights and benefits with ICC Partnerships & Licensing account managers, covering activations, VIK, invoicing, accreditation, guidelines and partner manuals.

  • Act as the primary operational liaison with the LOC, providing direction on permitted venue activities, approvals, and compliance with partner rights.

  • Lead the ICC Partnerships & Licensing team in tracking and monitoring Host Agreement deliverables, ensuring timely and compliant execution.

  • Plan and manage event-time resourcing and logistics for the sponsorship and licensing team.

  • Oversee LOC artwork approvals from a sponsorship and licensing perspective.

  • Manage coordination with LOC ticketing and hospitality teams, including portals, allocations, reporting, invoicing and handback processes.

  • Attend venue inspections and pre-event briefings; produce post-inspection reports and manage follow-up actions.

  • Support the planning and delivery of partner workshops and provide operational guidance to the sales team.

  • Provide regular operational updates to the ICC, LOC and key stakeholders.

  • Support match management documentation (venue checklists, run orders, signage plans, announcer and screen guidelines).

  • Act as an assigned ICC WT20WC26 Venue Sponsorship & Licensing Manager.

  • Manage post-event commercial logistics and deliver a post-event report outlining delivery outcomes, challenges and process improvements.

Match Centre Responsibilities

Pre-Match:

  • Conduct venue and practice venue readiness checks against ICC sponsorship and licensing standards.

  • Coordinate remedial actions to address gaps and ensure delivery to required standards.

  • Ensure ICC-appointed suppliers, sponsors and licensees implement activities in line with agreements.

  • Liaise across ICC functions and with venue/LOC teams to support final match preparations.

  • Provide venue readiness reports to the Senior Manager – Partnerships & Licensing.

Match Day:

  • Confirm venue readiness prior to gates opening and oversee delivery of all sponsorship and licensing rights and benefits.

  • Act as the primary on-site liaison for ICC departments, sponsors, licensees and suppliers.

  • Oversee sponsor activations, hospitality delivery and post-match award presentations (where applicable).

  • Monitor and manage ambush marketing risks in line with the Rights Protection Programme.

  • Act as point of escalation for all sponsorship and licensing operational issues.

  • Complete and circulate post-match venue reports.

YOU’LL HAVE

  • The right to work in the UK

  • Five years’ experience of working in events, preferably within commercial rights or an understanding of sports event management.

  • Educated to a degree level or equivalent with professional qualification.

  • Good knowledge of cricket and cricket events.

  • Exceptional time management skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficient in the use of MS Office.

  • Strong interpersonal and people management skills – ability to communicate, present effectively at all levels.

  • Strong professional verbal and written communications skills.
