Job Description
Our 4th Estate and William Collins team are looking for a Marketing Intern to work on and support innovative campaigns. The Marketing Intern will provide campaign and administrative support to help the marketing team deliver measurable campaigns in line with the divisional strategy. They will also have the opportunity to feed ideas into, create content for and work on some of the social and online channels within the division. This is a 1 month fixed term contract.

Key Responsibilities
Support the delivery of creative media and digital plans so that all activities are on time and within budget
Provide general administrative support for the department including social media scheduling and monitoring, working with our blogger programme and coordinating blog tours, helping with digital campaigns and administration, and helping out with minute taking in relevant Marketing meetings
Liaison with key stakeholders within the division, Publicity and Editorial, to ensure they have the information they need
Working closely with other members of the marketing team, and manage elements of monthly campaigns where relevant
Creating creative social campaign plans around seasonal and national moments, as well as individual authors/titles
Designing assets for social campaigns
Support a culture of collaboration, working closely with the wider marketing communications team to ensure that the comms output is single minded and joined up
Experience and Skills Required
A passion for literary fiction and non-fiction
Experience of managing, developing or creating a social and online presence, even if it is your own
Any publishing or marketing experience would be a bonus, whether that’s work experience, experience as a bookseller or as part of a publishing society
Enthusiasm! We want someone who wants to grab this opportunity with both hands and is keen to work in the publishing industry
A team player with excellent communication and people skills
