Job Description

We’re recruiting this role to manage all stages of the apparel supply cycle from initial design concepts through to order placement and ultimate delivery to over 300 players and support staff, and to assist with other areas of international teams’ administration.

YOU’LL LOVE THIS JOB IF

YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Maintaining regular and efficient communication with apparel suppliers, ensuring deliveries to England Squads and ECB staff are planned and supplied in a timely manner, personally overseeing kit issue to individuals when practicable 

  • Working with ECBs embellishment company to ensure that all England teams kits are produced in a timely manner, meet sponsor expectations, and adhere to all ICC rules and regulations 

  • Preparing the annual ECB kit order and subsequent kit drops for all international teams, consulting with ECB programme managers, and monitoring stock throughout the year 

  • Working alongside the commercial department and ECBs official teamwear supplier to help develop future England Cricket apparel (Match and training wear) – ensuring that, throughout the whole process, ICC rules and regulations are adhered to 

  • Working alongside the commercial department and ECBs official supplier to develop/design England Cricket formalwear and ensure that all players and management are fitted and supplied with England team suits each season and that players always have the requisite team clothing. 

  • Sourcing various ancillary Team items including but not limited to, Cricket Balls, Team luggage, Test match caps, helmets, footwear, eyewear and various training equipment. Ensuring we adapt to new demands whilst keeping within departmental budgets 

  • Maintaining and updating ECB records for members of England programmes, including recording player sizes, squad and appearance numbers and managing the process of ordering milestone caps

  • Managing the vehicle provision and internal freight movements for both the Senior England team and international touring teams – liaising with the relevant venue and Liaison Officer to ensure the efficient movement of team kits between venues and booking international shipping of team kit and equipment to and from overseas tours.

  • Working with The Hundred Commercial department to ensure kit is quality controlled to expected standards and there is a procedure in place for fulfilment and distribution. 

  • Procuring entry visas for senior international tours.

  • Contributing to the budget setting process for relevant lines to the role and helping monitor these budget lines through the course of the year, ensuring cost-effective administration.  

  • Provide operational support for the NCPC and for the performance pathway as workload allows

     

YOU’LL HAVE

  • Knowledge and experience of successful logistical planning and delivery for major events, with experience in apparel management.  

  • Knowledge and experience of Windows platforms and ability to grasp new systems quickly and efficiently.  

  • Excellent organisational skills and time management, and rigorous attention to detail.

  • Clear and effective communication – both in writing and orally. 

  •  A proven ability to work with efficiency, flexibility, and good humour.

  • A sound knowledge of cricket, ideally.

  • Full, clean driving licence
