Job Description
PURPOSE
We’re introducing this exciting role to support the commitment of the ECB to respond effectively and consistently to reports of concerns from across the cricket network.
Deadlines for applications will be 10th July 2023.
Interviews will take place virtually w/c 17th July.
Proposed start date for the role will be no later than 7th August 2023

YOU’LL LOVE THIS JOB IF:

YOU’LL BE DOING
Working along key staff from the ECB Anti-Discrimination Unit and Safeguarding Team to develop robust systems to support consistent response, monitoring and recording of concerns from across the cricket network.
Taking responsibility or supporting the daily triage of concerns raised by safeguarding and anti-discrimination leads across the cricket network to ensure consistent and appropriate response.
Liaising with designated leads within the cricket network and relevant ECB teams to identify and escalate concerns appropriately.
Taking responsibility and supporting the daily oversight of case reporting systems to allocate key tasks and monitor completion.
Embedding systems that support the timely qualitative and quantitative analysis of patterns of concern to inform and support policy and practice developments.
Regularly reviewing and refining system development to ensure it remains fit for purpose.
Contributing to training and development across the cricket network.
Supporting the ADU customer service process through all stages of complaint management
Undertaking other tasks as may be required to ensure the effective running of the ECB Safeguarding Team and Anti-Discrimination Unit.
YOU’LL HAVE
Significant experience of effectively managing a busy inbox in a customer facing role
The ability to develop, review and refine systems to support case management.
Experience of working to published thresholds to triage and provide initial response to concerns, including identifying and escalating cases requiring an immediate response.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise a diverse caseload based on clear risk assessment.
The ability to work independently while making effective use of line manager supervision.
A clear understanding of the importance of robust initial case management to the reputation of the ECB as the National Governing Body for cricket.
Knowledge and experience of implementing data protection legislation and guidance in relation to highly confidential material.
IT skills to support case management including word processing, spreadsheets and smartsheets, database and online meeting applications.
