As a result,  we are recruiting for a number of new roles designed to enable the organisation to grow, improve our ways of working and enable us to deliver our ambitious 2025 strategic plan.

The Head of Operations, is responsible for the day-to-day smooth operations of the Charity, managing workplace governance, operational support, digital technology, procurement. The role is a central to growing the impact of the Charity by supporting others to do their work better – and will work closely with teams across the organisation.

Critically, you will also oversee the ongoing transformation of UK Youth’s digital landscape and operational processes, setting us up for growth and creating a best in class, people first, digitally enabled environment.

Working closely to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be comfortable at both driving strategic change and managing ‘front-line’ queries – and be ready to bring your expertise to a range of areas from digital and IT to safeguarding and environment.

Who we are

UK Youth is a leading charity that exists to ensure all young people are equipped to thrive and

empowered to contribute at every stage of their lives. We work with others to ensure that the youth sector is strengthened, supported and that provision is youth-led, evidence-informed and delivers high-quality outcomes.

UK Youth plays a unique role in addressing; the lack of investment in the youth sector, the lack of cross-sector understanding in how youth work makes a difference and the limited opportunities to embed effective solutions. These factors lead to mass inequality of access to youth services for young people. To find more about us and how we make an impact, please visit UK Youth Website.
