Job Description
Introduction to the role
A fantastic opportunity to kickstart your career in events and gain marketing skills across all channels. You’ll work with the International Events Manager to support activities including conferences, webinars and training, in person and online. It also involves supporting the international marketing and sales team to create impactful campaigns that help deliver revenue growth and contribute to the division’s strategic objectives.
Key tasks and accountabilities
Work with International Events Manager to deliver marketing plan for Collins International product lists.
Logistical and administrative support for in-person events, including organising delivery of materials, producing designed assets for promotion, liaising with sales team to ensure smooth running and successful events.
Assist International Events Manager with regular webinar activity for international schools, creating promotional assets, co-host and manage session activity, edit recordings and run reports to relay information back to team.
Contribute to international schools marketing campaign activity, by proof-reading and updating marketing collateral for international markets, collaborating with wider team on social media initiatives, report on key marketing trends and new ideas.
Produce sales tools to aid promotion of new publishing such as cribsheets, author and product videos and presentations.
Support team with administrative tasks including minute taking in key meetings, organising office storage and events stock, manage correspondence of general international inboxes, maintaining book displays, updating order forms and sales tools, as well as any other ad-hoc admin tasks as required.
Develop and distribute monthly e-newsletter to international suppliers and termly newsletter for partner schools.
Skills required
Good IT skills including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Experience of design systems preferable – e.g. Canva/Photoshop/Adobe
Experience of using social media and email marketing platform preferable
Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise and work independently
Use initiative to develop new ideas and solve problems
A clear, accurate writing style and the ability to produce fluent and persuasive copy
A proactive and can-do attitude, with the ability to remain calm under pressure
A team player with excellent communication and people skills
Ability to quickly get up to speed with new digital marketing tools
Excellent attention to detail
Self-motivated
Understanding of or interest in international schools’ market
