Job Description

Purpose of the Post

Working as part of the Legal, Trust and Ethics team, the Administrative Officer will be primarily responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of HDR UK’s Public Advisory Board (PAB), which includes public members who provide advice and feedback on specific health data initiatives, research, and policy areas. The officer will handle logistics, communication, and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the group. They will also take the lead in facilitating interaction between the PAB and HDR UK staff as well as the wider research community.

Reporting to the PPIE manager, the successful candidate will work closely with the central PPIE team and colleagues across HDR UK to deliver the 2024-2028 PPIE strategy. They will thrive in managing multiple activities within a fast-paced, dynamic organisation, playing a key role in promoting involvement and engagement of the public in HDR UK’s work.
