Job Description

 This role is offered on a hybrid contract giving you the opportunity to also work from home three days a week.

Purpose of Role

The Talent Manager, in conjunction with the rest of the Talent Team, will support in the  delivery of the talent strategy and celebrity involvement for Red Nose Day 2025.  

 

    Interviews are expected to take place on w/c October 7th.

                                       

Key responsibilities:

  • Strategically and creatively partner with talent, celebrities and influencers for various Red Nose Day projects

  • Project manage talent-led activity working with internal teams and partners to ensure successful delivery

  • Manage external relationships, always seeking to strengthen ties with talent agents, publicists and key external stakeholders

  • Manage internal relationships, ensuring that talent involvement across all teams is effective and that knowledge and understanding of the Talent Team’s work is maintained to a high level across the organisation

  • Contribute to KPIs for Diversity & Inclusion, specifically improving talent representation across all of Comic Relief’s work

  • Undertake a certain amount of domestic travel in the execution of their role

 

Person specification

Essential criteria

  • Proven experience of working successfully with talent (from high profile to emerging) from a range of backgrounds and across different platforms

  • Strong relationship management skills – able to build long and successful partnerships

  • Good communication abilities – the right skills to engage and excite in all that we do

  • Creativity – ability to generate ideas, be inventive and collaborate

  • Dynamism – positive and passionate about all areas of our work

  • Flexibility – able to respond positively to the changing and evolving talent needs of the team and the organisation

 

Desirable criteria

  • Experience of working with influencers from social media/gaming

  • Experience of partnering talent to support with corporate partner activations

  • Experience of working with talent to directly raise money and fundraise
