Job Description
Key to the success of Inspiring Generations is our ability to galvanise the 39 County Cricket Boards and 18 First Class Counties in supporting cricket clubs, leagues, and communities, to ensure the long-term health and prosperity of the game.
You will play a key role in leading the development of the strategic roadmap across major cities and urban centres. Linking counties nationally to drive greater sharing of best practice and greater connectivity within and between the 39 CCB’s. You will be challenged in driving a culture of continual improvement whilst playing a key role in the two-way performance management of our County Partners across your respective region.
Key to the success of this role is the ability to influence and drive governance reform, whilst working in a supportive and challenging manner to delivers results. You will play a key influencing, coaching and enabling role in ensuring as a game we achieve our ambition of making “Cricket a game for me”.

YOU’LL BE DOING
Leading the development of strategic roadmaps across major cities and urban centres
Supporting and driving governance reform to agreed standards
Drive adoption of the Safe Hands Management System
Business Development – Identifying and developing growth opportunities within and between organisations, connecting counties nationally
Financial acumen and business planning – advising the P&G leadership team and committee on the distribution of recreational game funding.
Working closely with senior management of the ECB (including Board representatives) to foster stronger stakeholder relationships
Performance management of counties against agreed plans and targets
Change Management - Using exceptional coaching and business planning skills, assisting counties to diversify their funding streams and build resilience
Relationship management and communication, you will play a key role in ensuring two-way communication between the ECB and county partners
Future proofing counties against game disruption, driving diversification and sustainability
YOU’LL HAVE
Experience in developing programmes across urban communities
Experience in high quality performance management
Experience in delivering governance reform
Skills to implement safeguarding processes
Gravitas and the ability to influence “C” suit executives
Experience in business development and change management
Strong financial and business acumen
Outstanding relationship management skills and exceptional levels of emotional intelligence
A track record in partnership working and collaboration
