Job Description
Our Collins Marketing team are looking for a Digital Marketing and E-commerce Intern to work on and support innovative campaigns for the leading brand in educational publishing.
The Intern will provide campaign and administrative support to help the marketing team deliver measurable campaigns in line with the divisional strategy. They will also have the opportunity to feed ideas into, create content for and manage some of the social and online channels within the division. This is a six month fixed term contract.
Key Responsibilities
Support the delivery of creative media and digital plans so that all activities are on time and within budget.
Provide general administrative support for the department including social media scheduling and monitoring, managing the Collins social media channels, helping with digital campaigns and administration.
Updating the Collins.co.uk e-commerce site and monitoring engagement.
Working closely with other members of the marketing team, and manage elements of monthly campaigns where relevant.
Creating creative social campaign plans around seasonal and national moments, as well as individual brands/titles.
Setting up and monitoring social media activity across Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram.
Reporting on email marketing campaigns.
Support a culture of collaboration, working closely with the wider marketing communications team to ensure the right tone of voice is used in communication.
Experience and Skills Required
A passion for publishing and digital marketing.
Experience of managing, developing or creating a social and online presence, even if it is your own
Any publishing or marketing knowledge would be a bonus, whether that’s work experience, experience as a bookseller or as part of a publishing society
Enthusiasm! We want someone who wants to grab this opportunity with both hands and is keen to work in the publishing industry
