Summary of role

The Marketing Manager (Emerging Markets) is a new role and reflects the geographical growth of the Anthesis business. With dedicated Marketing support provided in the UK and North America, this role will provide marketing, digital and communication support to our smaller operations in France, Germany, Italy, Middle East, Portugal, Brazil and the Nordics. Reporting to Global Head of Marketing and Communications, and part of an eight-person Marketing team, you will take an active role in designing, planning and executing marketing activities across the before mentioned countries. The job is full of variety and suited to someone with a passion for sustainability and who likes working in a fast-paced environment. The role requires occasional work/travel outside of office hours, e.g. when visiting other countries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with the Global Head of Marketing and the local teams to develop country-specific marketing plans, aligned to the national/regional strategy plans.

  • Delivering against the marketing plans, through a range of activities including webinars, events, case studies, blogs, podcasts and market insights.

  • Researching into relevant industry events for Anthesis to support through sponsorship or attendance. Pitch in Anthesis experts for speaker opportunities where relevant.

  • Support the local teams with market insights and dates, leveraging them when possible for marketing initiatives.

  • Developing and maintaining a ‘Marketing in a Box’ suite of materials that that will suit new markets when setting up.

  • Ensure all local materials adhere to the Anthesis brand guidelines and updating where necessary.

  • Updating the group website with relevant content.

  • Working with the wider Marketing team on social media, podcasts, and video content.

Skills

  • At least three-four years of marketing experience;

  • A second language that relates to at least one of the before mentioned markets;

  • Experience of working cross markets, preference will be given to candidates with experience in some of the before mentioned markets;

  • Proficient in graphic packages such as Adobe Creative Cloud;

  • Knowledge of social media platforms, ideally LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram;

  • Experience using a range of Microsoft products; with particular strengths in PowerPoint;

  • An understanding of WordPress CMS and SEO best practices;

  • Experience using CRM databases and marketing platforms such as Hubspot, Netsuite or similar;

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with some copywriting experience, including the ability to identify tone of voice;

  • Previous background or passion for sustainability preferred;

  • Curious, globally minded and enthusiastic;

  • Organised and methodical;

  • Effective time management and organisational skills. Ability to respond positively to pressure and take a flexible approach to a dynamic, fast moving and changing work environment;

  • Work well with a wide range of people on a global basis;

  • Proactive with the ability and confidence to use initiative;

  • Well presented with a professional manner to act as a brand ambassador which flexes and is appropriate for the specific client environment and circumstances.
