Job Description

PURPOSE

Generalist HR Partner to the business developing relationships with managers and leaders across the business.  Supporting the Head of HR on delivering on all aspects of the people lifecycle to include ER/people management and onboarding with a strong focus on recruitment to deliver fair, diverse and robust assessment and selection processes for all recruitment across all roles and at all levels within ECB.

YOU’LL LOVE THIS JOB IF

  • You have experience as an HR practitioner with previous experience managing recruitment

YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Partnering with hiring managers across the ECB ensuring a deep understanding of business strategy and people needs and implement high-quality HR practices.

  • Working with hiring managers, leaders and other key stakeholders to understand the skills required to deliver Inspiring Generations 2.0

  • Working with managers to drive the inclusion and diversity agenda in every aspect of the employee life cycle. Coach and mentor business leaders to build a strong community of leaders that will improve the development of the business and the success of their teams.

  • Consulting with line management and provide HR guidance when appropriate, including recruitment, talent development, performance management, and employee relations.

  • Managing HR operation activities: e.g. drafting offer letters, on-boarding of new employees, leaving process.

  • Planning and driving ECB recruitment process based on business requirement including candidate attraction ensuring a focus on diverse talent pools by identifying new opportunities and partners to reach candidates from a range of different backgrounds. Utilise recruitment tools to minimise unconscious bias. Management of the end to end vacancy life cycle from role identification through to offer management.

  • Managing ECB employer branding across appropriate channels including but not limited to Linked IN, the cricket network, partners and other 3rd parties and social media to ensure diverse shortlist.

  • Creating diverse assessment panels to address unconscious bias in recruitment processes.

  • Other recruitment: ATS portal management (BeApplied); vendor management; Interviewing; Assessment centre coordination when needed; direct sourcing, research and engagement; proactive recruitment pipeline development; provide recruitment analytics as required

YOU’LL HAVE

  • HR qualification with demonstrable HR generalist work experience including employee relations and performance management

  • In-depth knowledge of recruitment best practice including research, direct sourcing and first-class interviewing skills  

  • Demonstrable experience of building recruitment processes with I&D values at the core.

  • High EQ and interpersonal skills to ensure excellent stakeholder management

  • Self-motivated, diligent and responsive, responsible, accountable, resilient and able to adapt to change quickly

  • Growth mindset – ability to demonstrate success through learning and improvement
