Job Description
PURPOSE
The Hundred Kit Manager will be responsible for organising, budgeting and managing the logistics of all kit orders and process for venues, ECB staff, and ECB agencies in relation to The Hundred 2025. This role requires meticulous planning, effective communication and collaboration with various teams and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of all kit-related materials.

YOU’LL BE DOING
Organising and Budgeting:
Manage and budget staff kit orders for venues, ECB staff, and ECB agencies.
Manage and budget all teams playing kit which includes training, playing, travel and protective wear
Develop and maintain a comprehensive printing materials plan in collaboration with New Balance, including order spreadsheets for block names/numbers, logos, letter and number packs.
Oversee the budgeting and ordering process for Masuri helmets, ensuring all necessary information is provided to place orders.
Place orders for spare cricket pads within budget constraints.
Liaising and Collaboration:
Coordinate with all 8 teams and suppliers to agree on delivery schedules.
Manage the VIK budget with New Balance and New Era
Act as the primary liaison between 8 venues/teams and suppliers (New Balance, Masuri, New Era) for all playing and staff kit issues and requests.
Collaborate with ECB staff, agencies and venues to place sufficient Staff Kit orders with New Balance
Collaborate with other ECB departments to maximise the use of the New Era allocation
Order Tracking and Updates:
Track all orders within budgets, including VIK, staff kit budget, kit changes, and printing materials.
Provide consistent updates to teams on process, progress, and timelines.
Forecast New Balance staff kit requirements for 2025
Delivery and Scheduling:
Monitor the delivery of all playing kits and headwear from suppliers to venues, addressing any issues and providing updates as needed.
Plan for the arrival and management of staff kits at Lords, including counting, storing, and managing spare stock.
Manage the allocation of New Era hats for staff, umpires, and commercial purposes.
Delivery of agreed amount of number / name blocks, additional lettering and branded logos to each individual venue in liaison with venue kit managers.
Additional Responsibilities:
Organize and manage additional kit branding requirements and last minute requests, including sign-off and order placement for teams.
Ensure all necessary kits are prepared and available for content days.
Plan and place orders for New Balance kit, training, and travel gear for the next year.
Work closely with the team at Lords to manage delivery and storage of any kit items needed to be stored
YOU’LL HAVE
Proven experience in logistics, sports kit management, or a related field.
Strong organisational and budgeting skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Proficiency in project management tools.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Experience working with sports teams or in a similar environment.
Knowledge of kit and equipment requirements for cricket or other sports.

This is the time estimate over the duration of the contract:
6 Jan 2025 until 28 March 2025 (12 weeks): Estimated avg hours per week = 7 - 14
31 March until 1 August 2025 (18 weeks): Estimated avg hours per week = 14 - 21
4 August until 26 September 2025 (8 weeks): Estimated avg hours per week = 4
